John Chappell – Senior Minister
John is married to Kylie. The Chappell’s have 4 children. Before entering the ministry John studied Physics and was a Physics / Chemistry teacher. John loves Kayaking and Tech – and helping people to love Jesus.
Simon Pei – Assistant Minister
Simon is married to Lillian. The Pei’s have four children. Before entering the ministry Simon was an Architect. Simon loves helping families from all backgrounds love Jesus, particularly those from mainland China.
Michael Yip – Assistant Minister
Michael is married to Rita. Before entering ministry Michael worked in IT. Michael loves being with friends and helping people from all backgrounds love Jesus, particularly those from Hong Kong.
Lauren Li – Children & Youth Minister
Lauren is married to Raphael. She loves dance and helping people from all backgounds – particularly children, loves Jesus. You can catch up with Kylie on Fridays and Sundays.
Chris Aspland – Warden
Chris has been a warden at St John’s for many years. Chris is an experienced lawyer who loves helping people love and serve Jesus.
Peter Bliss – Warden
Peter has been a warden at St John’s for many years. He is married to Eula and has a daughter and granddaughter. Peter is a civil engineer by trade and loves helping people love and serve Jesus.
Bruce Duncan – Treasurer
Bruce is married to Belinda and has two children. Bruce has many years in executive management and is our volunteer treasurer.
